German metalcore supergroup DOOMCRUSHER have unleashed their brand new EP, 'Forsaker', a crushing statement of resistance, self-determination and breaking free from everything that holds you back.
Built for pure devastation, 'Forsaker' sees DOOMCRUSHER push their distinctive sound further with crushing riffs, bone-breaking breakdowns, massive choruses and sophisticated electronic elements. Stomping industrial grooves collide with uncompromising gutturals and uplifting hooks, resulting in a collection of tracks made to ignite mosh and circle pits while carrying an emotional weight that reaches far beyond sheer heaviness.
Lyrically, 'Forsaker' is tied together by the struggle to regain control in the face of destructive influences. Across the EP, the band confront toxic relationships, manipulation, hypocrisy, blind obedience, fear, self-doubt and the inner demons that can keep a person trapped in destructive cycles. Rather than surrendering to them, the songs capture the process of recognizing these forces, confronting them and ultimately finding the strength to leave them behind.
At its core, 'Forsaker' is about liberation. The record moves through moments of isolation, anxiety, betrayal and emotional exhaustion towards resilience and self-determination. Founded by Andy Posdziech (Any Given Day), Jean Bormann (Rage), Marv Kinkel and Rob Lee, with Maik Feldmann (Betontod) later joining the lineup, DOOMCRUSHER bring together extensive experience from across the German heavy music scene. The supergroup has already amassed more than 2 million streams, establishing its uncompromising fusion of modern metalcore, industrial heaviness and anthemic songwriting.
